Meet Dr Mac

Dr Mac has loved animals and the natural world from an early age. He pursued his veterinary studies and graduated from Cairo University in 2004.

He moved to Australia with his family in 2009, but his enthusiasm and passion for the veterinary field never wavered, which led to the successful completion of the same degree in the two countries! Dr Mac graduated from the University of Adelaide with The Adelaide Graduate Award.

Following this, Dr Mac has worked in various small animal general practice clinics across Adelaide, giving him an appreciation of what clients need and want when they visit a vet. Dr Mac saw the development of a mobile vet clinic as a great advantage for pets and their owners.

Throughout his career, Dr Mac has seen first-hand how stressful, frustrating and inconvenient routine visits to the vet can be. Whether it be just physically getting to the vet or the stress of the waiting room. Whatever the reason is, Dr Mac strongly believes in being open and honest with clients, and what better environment to do this but in the comfort and convenience of your home.

Dr Mac is committed to providing a convenient, focused and stress-free mobile Veterinarian experience for you and your pet. By providing Veterinary care in a familiar and comfortable setting, we aim to save you time and eliminate the stress and anxiety many pets experience when visiting a Vet. Just imagine no more stressful car rides and Vet waiting rooms!

Dr Mac loves the more personal approach a home visit can provide and get to know your pet whilst they are more comfortable in their own environment. He is also proud to be the first vet in Adelaide to be CAETA Certified in euthanasia best practice. He is also Fear Free Certified Vet.
