There is a standard consult fee of $159 (30–45 minutes), which includes consultation and clinical examination, Monday–Friday (8 am–6 pm) within our serviceable area.
Dr Mac Mobile Vet is based in Tranmere and extends its services throughout the entire Adelaide Metropolitan area, including Fulham Gardens and surrounding suburbs.
A surcharge starting from $30 may be incurred for consultations exceeding a 25-kilometre radius from our Tranmere base.
Any extras will incur additional fees including vaccinations, medications, diagnostic tests, etc. Surcharges also apply for bookings on Saturdays or outside our serviceable area if applicable.

Saturday or Outside of the Main Service Area:
Consultations for additional pets on the same visit are $100 per pet.
Revisit consultations for follow-up within 4 weeks for the same problem are $110.
We’re happy to provide itemized invoices for all services rendered, as well as for insurance claim processing.
Payment is required at the time of consultation. We accept credit cards and EFTPOS.
Dr Mac has loved animals and the natural world from an early age. He pursued his veterinary studies and graduated from Cairo University in 2004.
He moved to Australia with his family in 2009, but his enthusiasm and passion for the veterinary field never wavered, which led to the successful completion of the same degree in the two countries! Dr Mac graduated from the University of Adelaide with The Adelaide Graduate Award.
Following this, Dr Mac has worked in various small animal general practice clinics across Adelaide, giving him an appreciation of what clients need and want when they visit a vet. Dr Mac saw the development of a mobile vet clinic as a great advantage for pets and their owners.
Throughout his career, Dr Mac has seen first-hand how stressful, frustrating and inconvenient routine visits to the vet can be. Whether it be just physically getting to the vet or the stress of the waiting room.
