When the difficult decision to say goodbye becomes necessary, Dr Mac provides a compassionate, at-home euthanasia service in Walkerville designed to ensure your beloved dog or cat passes peacefully. By conducting this final act of care in a familiar environment, we help reduce stress and discomfort for both you and your pet.
Throughout the process, Dr Mac strives to honor your wishes and respect your emotional well-being. Our goal is to deliver a loving and compassionate farewell for your cherished companion in the comfort of your own home.
There is a standard consult fee of $159 (30-45 minutes), which includes consultation and clinical examination, Mon-Fri (8 am- 6 pm) and within a serviceable area.
Dr Mac Mobile Vet is based in Eastern Adelaide and extends its services throughout the entire Adelaide Metropolitan area. A surcharge starting from $30 may be incurred for consultations exceeding a 25-kilometre radius from the Eastern Adelaide base.
Any extras will incur additional fees including vaccinations, medications, diagnostic tests etc. Surcharges apply (see below) for bookings on Saturdays or outside our serviceable area if applicable.

Standard Appointments:
Monday to Saturday: 8 am to 6 pm
A standard consult is 30-45 minutes.
Saturday or outside of the main service area:
Saturdays surcharge = $100
Travel surcharge = From $30
- Consultations for additional pets on the same visit are $100 per pet.
- Revisit consultations for follow-up within 4 weeks of the same problem are $110.
We're happy to provide itemized invoices for all services rendered, as well as for insurance claim processing.
